This is the official web site of the British Academy of Fencing.
The British Academy of Fencing (BAF) is the acknowledged coaching organisation for the sport of fencing in the United Kingdom. The Academy has its roots steeped in history. Where, well established and recognised skills are practised alongside an understanding of the needs of modern fencing coaches with today's competitive fencers.
The Academy is affiliated to:
1. Académie d'Armes Internationale (AAI).
2. Sports Coach UK - The National Coaching Foundation.
This web site covers all the general running of the Academy i.e. Levels of Membership, Qualifications, Structure of the Academy, Academy Promotions, Coaching Awards, Proficiency Awards and Courses throughout the United Kingdom. Giving all the standards and syllabus required to attain each level of coaching award.
